Amy Culliford
Amy is a graduate of the University of Victoria, where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre. In 2014, she founded Enchanted Fables Princess Parties – an award-winning children’s entertainment company on Vancouver Island – and sold the business in 2021. Amy has also worked as a professional actor and drama teacher, leading workshops and classes in public schools and after-school programs before becoming an arts administrator at Pacific Opera Victoria.
When not working full-time at the opera, Amy writes curriculum-based fiction and nonfiction books for children and early learners under several pen names. Author of over two hundred books, Amy works as a freelance writer and audiobook narrator for Crabtree Publishing and Seahorse Publishing, with books available in English, French, Spanish, and Haitian-Creole through Amazon, Walmart, Target, and Barnes & Noble.
